Want To Lose Weight…You may Be Asking The wrong Questions.

Hi Vibrant Health Seekers

Does this sound familiar?

Why do I have to give up all my favourite treats and snacks and all of those wonderful sweets and big yummy pasta dishes to lose weight? It’s just not fair! The problem is the more times you ask questions like that the more unfair it seems and the deeper your resistance to change becomes.

But what if you change your thinking and your questions. Firstly let’s ask what all of the yummy delicious tempting foods have in common. They are all industrialised processed versions of food. None of them are natural food.

All had to go through a complex process which took them far from their roots as real foods, or they were artificially created and then called food.

The sad fact is if a food tastes really good then you probably shouldn’t eat it. With the exception of slow cooked meat and baked vegetables, and tasty smoothies etc. The advantage of stopping the junk processed foods is that soon real food tastes better.

So what about a better question, such as “Do I have to quit eating processed industrial food which is making me fat sick and tired to lose weight and feel better? Now the answer is a lot easier to live with.

And the more you think about sugar and junk carbs in that way the faster you will be able to quit them and start losing weight.

Whenever you are tempted you could ask a question like

I wonder how many cockroaches parts ended up in my chocolate? (it’s true actually plus mouse and rat droppings)

I wonder what kind of chemicals they used in the icing or my cupcake.  (Again it’s true, probably a petro-chemical based flavouring)

I wonder how fast the sugar from my pasta or rice will flood my body with glucose which has to be controlled with insulin which sucks the glucose into your fat cells and probably straight to your thighs or stomach.

I wonder how fast I will get hungry after my bread or rice meal?

I wonder how long I can go on torturing myself with low fat diets, that never work and exercising myself into a ball of sweat hoping that the red glow of my exhausted face will burn extra calories.

Or simply, what is great about this diet?

If you ask questions designed to keep you on track you will stay on track it is that simple!
