Do You Want A Liver Like a Goose?

Foi Gras is a favourite French pate, made from goose livers. In order to make the livers nice and fatty in preparation they don’t force feed the goose fat, they feed it grains.

To fatten up a cow or sheep or any other tasty form of meat, the best option is grains. If they let the cows eat grass they eat what they need, but feed them grains and they just pig out!

So why do humans think that eating grains is healthy and fat will make us fat!

Because a long time ago some government official told us to do so, that’s why. And we believed them because of course government officials have our best interests at heart and because they have science types in lab coats who advise them.

Plus they have massive industries, such as the grain growers and sugar growers associations talking in their ears and filling their wallets. And so decisions are made which have massive health implications because it is economically expedient to do so.

But the true cost of these decisions were not made obvious for decades. Long after the brave and cashed up decision makers had long retired or died.

This was made obvious recently when in the New York Times article titled “Sugar backers shift blame to fat” Showed how corruption and payoffs led to the low fat message being wrongly shoved down the throats of unsuspecting generations of people leading to an explosion in obesity and diabetes.

So the question is do you want to be fattened up like generations before by following the low fat message and consuming carbohydrates under the banner of heart healthy grains etc, or do you want to step away from this out dated and unhealthy advice and take charge of your health and your future?

The simple solution is to follow a growing band of researchers, doctors and nutritional advisors who have simply looked at the research and realised that something is terribly wrong with the standard dietary advice.

Fats are not your enemy unless they are the kind made in factories from grains and pumped into all kinds of fast food and commercial cakes, bread, biscuits, cookies and muffins.

For over 20 years I have heard the term healthy fats, such as those found in olives, fish, nuts, seeds and avocados. But still all fats get unfairly lumped in together.

So take action take your health in hand and dump the sugars, grains and processed foods.
